Lunched at a new "Mediterranean" restaurant today.
The whole staff was Indian, which explained why at least half the items on the buffet
were Indian or spiced like Indian food. Aloo Tikki masqueraded as "falafel".

Whether fusion or backwards-ass intentions, this joint did neither well enough that I'd go back.

Love new restaurants -especially Indian as the quality is spotty in DFW.
The local rag -Dallas Observer, recently put out it's yearly “Best of” and it usually provides a new spot or two.
Today, I chose to hit it's pick for best Indian food as I've been craving increased spice and heat.

Double dose of niños today, both in manageable blocks of time.

Routine visit by Madre and PareDiablo. NietaDiablo was her usual pill-self but NietoDiablo was better behaved. Stayed a couple of hours And left to hit the data center near 4pm. Decent progress.

While lunching at Taj Mahal, I noticed only one staff and kitchen crew. Everyone else had gone. Same owner, so I’m told [never seen’em] but the regular manager has gone back to Bangladesh for a couple of months. Sure…sure.
